The Challenge

Groww had four product teams shipping inconsistent UI ??? different button radii, conflicting spacing scales and duplicate icon sets. Development was slowing down as each team rebuilt the same components independently.

My Approach

I led the creation of a token-based design system: colour, typography, spacing and elevation mapped directly to code variables. Built 200+ components across web and mobile in Figma, with auto-layout, variants and interactive states documented for every piece.

The Impact

Design-to-development handoff time dropped by 60%. New screens from any team now shared a consistent visual language by default, and engineering adopted colour tokens directly from Figma variables.
